How do I compliment my chatbot conversation with dynamic website content?
As you chatbot conversation twists and turns it may make sense to also change the background webpage to compliment the discussion in the chatbot window. For example, if your visitor clicks on a product you shared in the chatbot window, it would make sense for the background webpage to navigate to the product page so the visitor has access to as much relevant information as possible available.
There are a number of ways for your chatbot to navigate to different webpages involving the script element tools in the right hand panel palette circumscribed below.
1. Button
Upon click of a Button in Gobot, the chatbot can do a number of different things including navigating to a particular URL. When you drag a button into your bot script in the center panel in bot build mode, the right hand panel editor for your panel looks like this:
You will note that you can enter a URL that you want to navigate to upon click of the button in your bot script.
2. Search Q&A
Gobot helps answer customer questions by suggesting articles in your knowledge base that may be helpful. Upon click of a suggested article, your chatbot can automatically direct your visitor to a pre-selected URL.

3. Text
You can easily embed a link in a text bubble allowing a visitor to navigate to the proposed URL at his or her convenience.
4. Shopify Products Button
Gobot allows Shopify users to embed any product on their Shopify store into the chat script. Upon click of the product the background URL changes to the product URL. Clicking the Buy Now or Add to Cart buttons under the product navigates the visitor to their cart or to the check out page. Gobot also provides the option of navigating to the product page as soon as the product is shown in the chat window even without clicking on the product by the visitor. 5. Shopify Carousel Button
Gobot allows Shopify users to easily create shopper bots with carousels of products automatically imported from Shopify into Gobot. As with the Products button above, clicking on any product in the shopper carousel will bring the visitor directly to the Shopify product page.
